John Hargreaves on sick leave

By Gungahlin Al - 11 June 2008 14

Just heard that Minister for Transport, TaMS and various other stuff John Hargreaves is suffering an arterial blockage or some such and is on an extended period of sick leave for recuperation. Can’t find any links just yet.

We have our differences without doubt, but we wish him a speedy recovery.

I understand that Andrew Barr will be filling in. Perhaps this is our chance to get some good decisions made about the future of public transport in this town? Let’s start with a proper cost-benefit analysis of a phased introduction of light rail…

What’s Your opinion?

Arterial blockage – did his foot move from his mouth down to an artery?

And here I was thinking he didn’t have a heart….

Yes, but at least Barr is better looking.

The lazy alcoholic twat never does a tap anyway. Good riddance to him. The down side is we’ve got that other waste of skin Barr in his place.

Mini-busses at non-peak times.

It was the new 8 litre casks that finally did for him.

If Mr Hargreaves is ill then I wish him a speedy recovery.

I hear he was going to retire anyway – can anyone confirm?

Pandy 6:40 pm 11 Jun 08

If John drank more red wine, that would clear his blockage.

It was probably all those crazy off-topic rants in the Legislative Assembly finally getting to him!
