Yes Young’uns down your durries, Katy Gallagher has announced that it’s “National Youth Tobacco Free Day” and she would like you to stop smoking.

Informative as always Katy notes that:

Students aged 16 to 17 were more likely than younger (12-15 years) students to report having ever smoked, current smoking and daily smoking.”

Who’d a thunk THAT!

If the cravings get too bad you can always follow the example of eight of the premiership winning West Coast Eagles squad and take up party drugs.

Yeah like the fumes from a tail pipe aren’t worse….

snahon, they usually have mum or dad or an older sibling or friend to buy them.

so how many youths got their free tobacco and where did they get it from ?

Well I still call myself a smoker and I have not had one since December.

I must be lucky in that I control my smoking – not the other way around.

Party drugs pfft – great means to the ultimate end..

Notice that the CT was reporting it as “National Youth Free Tobacco Day”. Those cunning companies will go to any length to get the kids hooked!

Presumably those who smoke marijuana are still free to smoke?

i feel like a cool refreshing laramie right now.
