Kambah man to face court over Eden Waugh murder

Eden Waugh: suffered a fatal gunshot wound.

A fifth person has been charged over the 2016 murder of artist Eden Waugh and will face the ACT Magistrates Court today.

The man will appear in the ACT Magistrate’s Court today (Thursday 23 August 2018) charged with murder (joint commission) and aggravated robbery.

He will also be charged with aggravated burglary and numerous assaults that occurred at the same location on 22 September 2016.

Detective Acting Superintendent Matthew Reynolds said this was another step forward in the investigation.

“We are still urging anyone with information relating to the murder of Eden Waugh to come forward and speak to police,” he said.

Police were notified about 7.45 pm on Thursday, 3 November 2016 of a disturbance and an injured man at Windeyer Street in Watson. On arrival, police found Mr Waugh had sustained a fatal gunshot wound.
