Katy Gallagher launched an “app” (it’s not an app it’s a website with a mobile interface dagnammit) today called Find a Health Service. You can download an “app” which is just a link to the site off the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store, but why would you when it’s just a website so you might as well just go there.
“The app is an extension of the Find a Health Service website and will provide an instant directory of health services, practitioners and after hours healthcare options – wherever and whenever they need it,” the Chief Minister said.
“The app has been developed through collaboration with ACT Medical Local and in consultation with the ACT Health Consumers Association to ensure that the app utilises consumer-friendly search options and makes finding a health service or practitioner far easier – particularly after hours.
“It is hoped the Find a Health Service mobile app will increase people confidence about finding and accessing after hours medical care in their local community, and importantly where the health service they need is available first,” the Chief Minister concluded.
