Katy Gallagher likes plans. It doesn’t seem to matter that no one seems to follow the plans, the most important thing is to have the plan.
Today she has announced an ACT Health Cultural Respect Implementation Plan.
“She said the Plan focussed on influencing corporate health governance, organisational management and the delivery of care.
“The Cultural Respect Implementation Plan has three prime objectives for ACT Health – a health system that is responsive to the needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, that follows this up with quality service, and one that embraces the diversity within Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and is able to provide culturally safe health services,†“
