Katy Gallagher has announced that the ACT Secondary Student Drug and Health Risk Survey has found the youth of Canberra are telling the survey they’re doing less drugs and drinking less than their forebears. They are eating badly and exercising little, but that’s the kind of problem a domineering nanny administration likes to tackle.

So, in your experience, is there less substance abuse amongst Canberra youth than their used to be?

Or are they being less honest when surveyed about it?

(It’s also worth noting this is 2005 data which some monkey has been toying with for the last two years)

UPDATED: Meanwhile the mouth breathers at the Canberra Times are shocked that some children are smoking, drinking, and taking drugs! Who would have thought this could possibly be?
