Randall-Blair sent in the following:

King Curly is to perform this Friday 26th May at ‘The Merry Muse’ Polish White Eagle Club, Turner. Randall-Blair, as well as local magician/comedian Tricky Nick will support the band.

The gig will serve as a prelude to the launch of King Curly’s 3rd album ‘Doomsday Piano’ later in the year.

The album will feature a collection of unusual instruments including a fence-paling banjo with a feral goat-skin head, a suitcase-bass, and bush-percussion made from tea-chests, hub-caps and petrol cans.

The new songs include tales of avenging Zombies, bumblebees, and runaway pianos against an impossibly beautiful backdrop of chook shed instrumentation.

This show promises to be a rare treat for lovers of acoustic music in this town!
