You are SO grasping at straws.
High chance it’s a wild cat. Drown it before it breeds.
Only joking, take it to the pound and let them put it down.

Cat poo spreads toxoplasmosis, dog poo doesn’t.

I have it: cyclist cat who eats wildlife for fun and washes windscreens or chugs in sparetime!! (and doesn’t take EFTPOS)
and Grrrr, dog poo actually does pose a threat to our wildlife when it runs into stormwater drains polluting the place (not to mention unsightly, unhygienic, and shoe-stepping bad)
Let’s just say I know more responsible cat owners than dog owners…more dogs make themselves known with their incessant barking.

Sounds like you know a very small portion of the ACT’s cat owners because there are many cats allowed to roam.
Dog “droppings/urine” poses little threat to our wildlife, especially not to birds. Dogs are also much less likely to be allowed to roam freely around the neighbourhood. Of course dogs shouldn’t be allowed to kill wildlife – no one is suggesting that.
As for “getting over it” – as the dog said to the doctor: Physician, heel thyself!

Now all we need is to have a cyling cat that holds all the traffic up all the time, that will get the trolls into a frenzy!

There is a pretty Australian bird in my backyard….sorry, the neighbour’s cat has just eaten it.
Cats are undeniably beautiful; there was a mottled fluffy one in my backyard today. I opened the door loudly so that he(?) could run away before my dogs got to him.
He won’t make a habit of visiting, now he knows I have two dogs. The birds will be thankful.
But he was very pretty.

Which is best, Top Loader or Front Loader, Hot or Cold Water?
Cats wash themselves. That is all.
Constrained to the house/yard type cats/dogs are both OK in my book.
Wandering cats/dogs sh1t me to tears.
This is a super cool (and income generating) cat http://www.henrilechatnoir.com/
PS I identify preferentially as a dog person.

Even hayfever?
Purring is therapeutic. Kitties can cure what ails you.
And it’s pretty easy to keep them confined. Some decent sized fences do the trick for many cats, or giving them a little playpen when they go outside. I don’t want madam fluffypaws getting into a scritchfight with the other kitties out there!

Cats are just like artists, usually too lazy to do any of that practical stuff:

Ha, I know. I knew my comment about liking cats would somehow poke the bear (heaven help me for preferring cats to dogs)…but I can’t help myself.
Here at RA, even a post about a lost kitten results in a barney.
Everyone drink some warm milk right meow!

lets not forget hot dogs and dagwood dogs
