An employee of the Australian Federal Police (AFP) has been accused of drink driving and is scheduled to face court.
The alleged offence occurred on 19 December 2024, an AFP spokesperson said.
The member was then issued a summons to face the ACT Magistrates Court by ACT Policing.
They were issued one count of exceeding the prescribed concentration of alcohol, contrary to section 19(1) of the Road Transport (Alcohol and Drugs) Act 1977 (ACT).
The member was scheduled to face the Magistrates Court on Thursday (13 March).
“The AFP is committed to transparency,” the AFP spokesperson said.
“No further comment will be made.”
