Knife-wielding offender robs Woolworths Erindale

Police are seeking witnesses after the Woolworths Erindale store was robbed at knifepoint last night.

At about 9:15 pm a male offender entered the Erindale Shopping Centre and approached the front counter of Woolworths holding a knife, demanding money from a staff member.

He entered the counter area and removed a till containing a sum of cash. He then fled with the till in the direction of a rear cark park.

Police said the male offender was described as being about 170-175cm tall, of slim build, wearing grey track pants, a black hoodie, one red and one white glove and a white cloth face mask.

ACT Policing is calling for anyone who may have information relating this incident to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website.
