Krav Maga Introduction Session – 8th of May

By Lazy I 30 April 2010 6

For those interested in self defence or looking to gain some practical self defence skills, Krav Maga Canberra run regular introduction sessions that you can attend to learn the basics and determine if Krav Maga is right for you.

The next introduction session will be held on Saturday the 8th of May due to the last introduction session being canceled due to rain on the 24th of April (we now have alternative arrangements for wet weather if required).

More details about this session, and upcoming events can be found on the events page of the Krav Maga Canberra website:

You can also subscribe to our mailing list to receive regular training updates.

All sessions are run by IKMF (International Krav Maga Federation) certified instructors and involve practical self defence for every day use. Classes are open to men and women over 18 years of age and no previous self defence or martial arts experience is required!

Full details about Krav Maga Canberra including Frequently Asked Questions can be found at the Krav Maga Canberra website.

That comes after the lessons on gaining western allies via subversive storytelling through media production domination.

Curious though, like the coloured belts of other disciplines, does the student get larger and larger Ferengi style ears as they progress through the levels.

Cool! Does it teach you how to build houses on other people’s land?

Word of mouth I guess, although it was through the wonders of the interwebs.

I wouldn’t say it has exploded in popularity but there is definitely increased interest in Krav Maga due to it’s practical nature.

IKMF Krav Maga classes have been running in Canberra for many years and under the current instructor (David Sargent) since June 2006.

The website for Krav Maga Canberra is a new addition and may have contributed to recent increased awareness of the system locally.

Interested to know how you heard about Krav Maga, was it word of mouth? website? documentary?

Interesting post, for that simple reason that I had never heard of it until yesterday. So the question is, has this martial art just recently exploded in popularity, or is this a complete coincidence?
