One of Canberra’s more intriguing cultural events are “Le Chat Noir”, held once a month at the Kremlin Bar on Northbourne Avenue.

This month it features the stars of Insatiable Banalities 108, Little Sister.

Here’s the description from the Facebook page:

Le Chat Noir is inspired by the original Parisian cabaret started by Rodolphe Salisin the 1880s. This Le Chat Noir however is based on relaxed alternative music provided by DJs, as well as live music, a fashion tableau vivant and a burlesque performance.

Le Chat Noir will appeal to anyone with a taste for something a little different.

    This months guests:
    Fashion by Morph Clothing (Canada)
Burlesque performance by Miss Pink (Sydney)
    Live Music by Little Sister
    Jewellery by Madame Q
    Pasties by Allyeska
    Guest DJ Kasdeja (Sydney)

Signature cocktails available only at Le Chat Noir:

Le Petit Chaton (The Little Kitten):
Served in a port glass, sips of a potent mix of darkness and sweetness.

Le Chat Noir (The Black Cat):
Served in a martini glass the larger sibling boasts the same darkness with a more sophisticated flavour.

    Entry is $10

Something a bit different!
