Liberals ask where the damn liquor licensing schedule is?

By johnboy - 7 November 2011 7

The Liberals’ Vicki Dunne is joining the chorus asking what the liquor license fees will be when they’re due in just three weeks time on 30 November.

“ACT liquor licensees have to pay their renewals on 30 November 2011, but they haven’t been told what the new fees will be,” Mrs Dunne said.

“ACT Labor has had twelve months to conduct a review of liquor licensing fees but is waiting until the eleventh hour to give the details to the industry it affects.

Sadly par for the course with this Government.

What’s Your opinion?

The Liberals would just release the fee schedule six months in advance, then alter it every few days for the week before the fees are actually due. No difference to the people it affects.

This Fee Effects People??What People??Who Cares!!-What Do You Mean By They Have A Say In Who Is In Government-Deny Every Thing…

Jeez I wish I had some of what you’re smoking.

‘Affects’ not ‘effects’. Capitalisation isn’t your only weakness…

Why would they worry JB, after all, it’s not as if they will lose power, no matter what they did.

Agreed. Too many “durr hurr I’m a labor voter I’ll always vote labor” people in this city.

Well that, plus a weak opposition, and a high number of green voters will almost inevitably ensure that the ALP will remain in power, well, forever
