Man & Van Hire Suggestions

nnaatt 11 July 2012 6

Howdy riot folks…

i require two pieces of furniture – cocktail cupboard and (smallish) bookself – to be picked up in Banks and dropped off in Campbell.

Alas i’ve done the measurements and it won’t fit in my car 🙁

Can anyone suggest a realiable man & van hire service (by hour)?

The furniture is quite sentimental, so require someone who’d treat it with care.

Appreciate your suggestions:)

Cheers,

nat

A man and van service? Don’t know about Canberra but if you phone Delivery Boys who advertise in the Sydney Star Observer they might be able to help you out 😉

There’s always the horse float option, if you know someone who has one.

I’ve always found Tristan and his brother extremely helpful, you can contact them at:

If you can get a car with a towbar, furniture trailers are really cheap to hire as well. We have moved house 5 times just using one of those, so may be another cheaper option. And as SigmaOctantis pointed out, you know your things are looked after then.

Hire a ute and do it yourself. I got a 1 day hire from Hertz in QBN and it cost far less than the rediculous delivery system of the shop I bought from. Plus you know it’s well looked after and done in an hour or so.
