Last night the Pirates Mark Gibbons took a swing at our candidate challenge for the 2012 election.

Not having been nominated in time for the donor phase of the Challenge Mark came down to our house bar, Duxton in O’Connor and in what seems to be a trend was all done around the 2 3/4 hour mark.

Scrutineers from the major parties were in attendance, as were a smattering of rioters, pirates, and other media.

Mark’s priorities appear to be pirate flags, improved express bus services, licensing breaks for small bars, and fostering cultural output.

But don’t take my word for it, he explains all in the video.

The next one is tonight! At Digress on Akuna Street in Civic in Labor’s Mark Kulasingham, our first Labor candidate and the first for Molonglo.

(Candidates who haven’t slotted themselves in are advised that there will be no candidate challenges after 28 September so they better get in quick, email john@the-riotact.com )

Note JB that the vision isn’t for “improved express bus services” – it’s removing the need for express bus services at all, because all services, not just a select few, will be quicker.
There was some rail in there too at the back 🙂

Pfft. Ninja have nothing to fear full stop.

*note Ninja is its own plural.

Still choking on my coffee.

“Ninjas have nothing to fear under a Pirate administration,”

Not bad but the candidate needs to work on his presentation skills imho. Much clearer audio in this video than the previous one though!
