I got there late. was agreat show – awesome stage setup. not a massive crowd but decent and seemed very responsive. good performance too.

My lady friend bought a CD which we listened to in the car and was tip top. havent had a chance to watch the dvd yet.

great artwork too but it was so big i had trouble getting it back in its case in the dark car! good stuff guys.

It’s Saturday night here! Which I guess means it was saturday night last night there. So how did it go?

“…Bruce Willis and John Cusack in the same band, who would have thought?”

Thats better that Bruce Willis and John Stamos which is what my sister said.

And can Bruce Willis really sing?

…Bruce Willis and John Cusack in the same band, who would have thought?

she is definately angsty though.
Its always difficalt to answer “what do you sound like” – if you guys come along on sat night we’d love it if you told us the answer!

Rock with metal edges and girl vocals who sometimes go bluesy.

They came in for one of the early podcasts.

Sometimes we are a bit folky but largely not folky and we won’t be anywhere near folk on Saturday night. But The Cashews are a bit folky and Avenue Days have an acoustic guitar and they played at the folk festival once. Thank you for calling me a lady, I am going to send the link to your post to my Mum and Dad who always sigh and say “she’ll never be a lady”….

Great angsty photo, at any rate. But the lady looks a lot like a folk singer. Are they folkies?

> So what’s this Meatbee mob like? What sort of music do they play and are they any good?

I’m sure they’ve got samples at meatbee.com

Yes, they are good.

And can Bruce Willis really sing?

So what’s this Meatbee mob like? What sort of music do they play and are they any good?

I was only kidding, they know I’ll be there. Not only do they schedule around rugby watching, they even played AT the rugby the other week…bonus!

Personally I appreciate a band who schedule their performance around my rugby watching.

I would have come along, but not after that “thugby” comment. You lot can get stuffed. 😉
