ACT Policing is seeking assistance from the public in locating a 48-year-old Wanniassa man who has not been seen by family for two (2) weeks.
The man, Warren Murdock, left Canberra on Australia Day, Wednesday January 26, to visit family in Lilydale, Victoria.
He was last seen by a friend on Tuesday February 1 in Mount Burnett, Victoria where he left to return back to Canberra.
Family in Canberra have not seen or heard from him since he left two (2) weeks ago and he did not contact his 74-year-old mother for her birthday which is out of character for him.
He is described as 165cm tall (5’4”), having a medium build, fair complexion, blue eyes and curly blond/grey hair. Mr Murdock has a large tattoo on his chest of various Australian animals.
He was driving a white Volkswagon Transporter with ACT registration YBD59P.
Police are concerned for the safety of Mr Murdock as this lengthy absence is out of character.
Anyone who may know of Mr Murdock’s whereabouts, or may have seen him and can vouch for his safety, is urged to contact ACT Policing Operations on 131-444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
