More ACT units heading to the blue mountains

The ACT Rural Fire Service will send another two strike force teams to the Blue Mountains to help with local firefighting efforts.

The formal request from the NSW Rural Fire Service was made as the first deployment continue working on various fire grounds in the region.

The two new strike force teams will depart Canberra at lunchtime tomorrow for a changeover with the first group who will arrive back in the ACT tomorrow night.
