The ABC has a grab bag of gory details from the Downer Murders trial underway now in the Supreme Court.
Of particular interest is this murder meetup:
McDougall said on the night of the incident, he told Ms Franco he thought she was a police informant.
He said he was disappointed because it was the worst thing you could do.
A statement tendered to the court says earlier that day, Ms Franco had told police she was willing to assist an investigation into a murder in Charnwood in July 2008.
She said she did not want anyone to know she was back in town and still feared a person known as “Marshall”, an ex-partner who was linked to the Charnwood stabbing.
It’s a whole underworld we’ve got going on.
