Donna Faull is a true Canberran. Her grandparents were original residents of the Causeway and then Ainslie, her father was involved in building the Commonwealth Bridge whilst her mother worked at the old Canberra Hospital where Donna was born in 1968. Her school days were spent firstly at North Ainslie Primary school then Campbell and Lyneham Highs and finally Dickson College. Donna and her partner settled in Ngunnawal, bought a house and raised two sons.

Donna’s life was dealt a blow when she was diagnosed as suffering from multiple sclerosis in 2010. Unfortunately since then her decline has been rapid and the only option she has left before she is left immobile by MS is an expensive stem cell transplant overseas.

Her partner has had to leave work to care for her and their combined pensions are not enough to cover the cost of $110,000 of the transplant it self plus flights and accommodation for 3 months of the transplant procedure. Donna’s family and friends are conducting a number of fundraising events to help Donna get to Singapore where her transplant will take place.
