Smith’s Alternative is hosting a launch for Vanessa Berry’s new book/zine “Ninety Nine”.
It seems like a wonderful piece of nostalgia.
CanberraZine Emporium is super excited to present the Canberra launch of Ninety 9, the latest book from prolific and much loved Sydney zinester Vanessa Berry (I Am A Camera + countless others). Ninety 9 is “a memoir about being a teenage music fan in Sydney in the 1990s. Record stores, mix tapes made from the radio, band t-shirts & staying up late to watch Rage.” Rad.
Vanessa will be in town to read from her new book, and the CZE crew will be holding a mini zine fair. Oh, and there will be a door prize. Copies of Ninety 9 will be available to purchase on the night from Vanessa herself, as well as a selection of her zines.
So lace up those docs and join us for a night of stories, music geek-outs and zines – what more could you want?
