No danger found following bomb threat among O'Malley embassies

Australian Federal Police bomb technicians have been called to examine a suspicious package found in a vehicle in O’Malley.

The bomb threat was reported to police at about 10:30 am (27 October) on Culgoa Circuit, near several embassies.

ACT Policing said there was no threat to public safety.

“A 35-year-old man was taken into custody at the location and is assisting police with enquiries,” the statement said.

Anyone with information regarding the bomb threat has been urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, quoting reference 7255139.

Information could be provided anonymously.
