After the 3CR gig last Friday and the feast of fine music….including a albeit too short transportation to the heavens by Conway Savage that he calls his new work [Doris Day’s Que Sera Sera will never be the same…and I loved that song so much as a child…and now I am all growed up can there be any more perfect a version than Conway’s]
Anyways about the only local stuff that would drag me away from my knitting or loom [how Penelope/Odysseyan] would be Blair and the various permutations of that bunch of blissfully betrothed gentlemen or Painted Hearts
And guess what’s on @ The Phoenix tomorrow…Painted Hearts…just what I need to overcome [in the words of Captain Kurtz] “the horror the horror”
Maybe see ya there…if not it’s coz you’re dying or your taste is in your arse
Then of course on Sat is the Dumb Earth @ the Phoenix…again…any band that Con Savage would do support for their CD launch is good enough for me
