Pasha’s lounge at Gorman House

If you’re sorry you missed the Cashews’ CD Launch, or if you went, had a blast and are looking for the next big evening, then there’s good news.

The Canberra Musicians Club and 2xx are putting on an exciting show called “Pasha’s Lounge” on Saturday night as part of Gorman House Market’s journey into the night and the Canberra Living Artists Week (CLAW!).

I can’t promise if there will be giant burning phallic mashews, but the CMC events page describes it thusly:

Think Cabaret Voltaire in an Opium Den..

Catch six of Canberra’s leading musical acts in the intimate surrounds of DNA Studio. Enter another realm, a world where cares flee in the face of beautiful sounds, soft furnishings, subtle lighting and congenial company.

    The Entertainment:

Matt Dent, Sanjiva de Silva, Ocean Moses, Big Score, The Glaciers, Fire on the Hill

They remind me of unpleasant rashes.

Giant wangs don’t usually get me reading articles.

Well spotted Caf.

Anyone wanting a bigger version of the poster to print and adorn their office can download this.

The story of the Mashew is made clear in the slideshow on the Cd Launch story.

Why I do believe that’s a giant burning phallic mashew. As referenced in the story.

What’s that they’re burning?

Finding out now.

Might have to settle for a hi-res file you can print yourself though.
