A friend of mine thinks she’s about to be ripped off by a periodontist who has quoted her for tooth implants.

Can anyone recommend a periodontist who does tooth implants?

My friend saw a periodontist and prosthodontist in turner to get a tooth implant. She said her dentist recommended them as they do tooth implants every day and her dentist doesn’t do them.
It took months to get it all done and she had to delay her annual overseas trip to afford it. The specialists always seem to charge a lot but they do get referrals from the busy dentists. Apparently she researched melbourne and sydney and the specialists there charge even more than in canberra.

+1 for Dr Viljoen.

Yes it is expensive, but you get what you pay for.

Thanks for your help. Will pass the info onto my friend. Cheers.

Try Dr. Kitchings at Woden on Corinna Street. Fantastic service and a very professional operation.

You could try Dr Andre Viljoen (http://www.andreviljoen.com.au/) – not cheap but exceptionally skilled.

I’d ask around for quotes, much as you would for a house-painting job etc.
