Police call for witnesses after alleged assault in garage leaves man with serious injuries

A man has been left with “serious injuries” after an alleged assault in a garage.

ACT Policing said that at about 8:20 am on Monday (30 September), two men entered the garage of a Braddon home.

They allegedly assaulted a male resident before leaving in a silver Ford Ranger.

Police and emergency services arrived a short time later, with the alleged victim taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The vehicle was located nearby and an investigation into the incident is ongoing.

As they investigate, ACT Policing is asking anyone who saw the silver Ford Ranger in Cooyong Street, Batman Street, Currong Street North or Founders Lane at around 8:20 am on Monday or has dash-cam footage of it to come forward.
