Police investigating death of motorcyclist at Wee Jasper

A 52-year-old man has lost his life in a motorcycle crash south of Yass.

At about 3:45 pm yesterday (April 24), a motorist came across a motorcyclist who had come off his bike on the Nottingham Road Bridge at Wee Jasper.

Police say it is unknown how long the man had been there.

The motorcyclist was taken from the scene by Ambulance Paramedics but died a short time later.

Officers from The Hume Police District are investigating the incident, a report will be prepared for the Coroner.
