The Square Kilometer Array (SKA) is one of the biggest and most ambitious global scientific projects ever conceived. Once completed, it will enable us to delve further into the Universe than we ever have before.
In this talk, CSIRO astronomer Dr. Lisa Harvey-Smith will kick off our Frontiers of Science Conference on astronomy by describing what cosmic mysteries the SKA will help us solve and the technological challenges facing this amazing global project.
