SummerSalt hits Stage 88 this Saturday with a huge lineup that reads like a late 2000s Coastal Chill compilation CD. Emily Wurramara and Montaigne are the must-see acts, with The Cat Empire, John Butler, Boy & Bear and The Teskey Brothers also set to appear.

Canberra’s most infamous country-punk party band Snake Oil Preachers return to the stage this Saturday with a headlining set at Smith’s Alternative, joined by 70s-inspired rockers ZZG. Across town, The Polo in Turner will play host to not one, not two, but three single launches, with Bec Taylor & The Lyrebirds, The Burley Griffin and CJ Shaw co-headlining a massive night of local music.

There’s plenty to see and hear all around the city this week, with heavy rockers Redhook playing at UC Hub, Parklands celebrating their single launch at The Basement, and Los Chavos heading up a tropical ska mini-festival at sideway.
