Canberra Theatre will be graced with a string of iconic bands from the 60s, 70s and 80s this week when Cheap Trick, The Angels and The Animals all take to the stage across Thursday and Friday night.
Along with her multi-Grammy award-nominated band, Hiatus Kaiyote, Nai Palm has graduated from fame by association (her discography includes collaborations with Drake, Kendrick Lamar and Chance The Rapper, to name but a few) to all-out musical icon in her own right. She’ll be performing an intimate set at the NFSA on Sunday evening.
Enlighten continues this week as well, with appearances from Dan Sultan and Briggs the pick of the bunch. CANcophany, the indie-orchestral collaboration event taking over UC Refectory on Saturday night, is also part of the expansive Enlighten program.
It’s been a long time coming, but fans of #1 Dads and No Mono featured artist Tom Snowdon will be able to catch the man himself performing tracks from his debut album at Smith’s on Sunday evening.
