It’s O-Week at UC and that means lots and lots of live music. Sesame Girl, ARCHIE, smartcasual and Madeline Proud will take to the stage at UC Hub on Thursday night before Beddy Rays and Ben Swissa do the same on Friday.
Canberra’s annual celebration of improvised and experimental music will return this week. The Drill Hall Gallery will be filled across the weekend with ambient, unexpected and generally left-of-field sounds for SoundOut Festival.
Canberra Theatre Centre is set to kick off its contemporary music program for the year on Tuesday evening when Texan-born country superstar Charley Crockett and ARIA-nominated singer Emma Donovan hit the stage at The Playhouse.
