Yup just as it says … playing soccer on skates (and before you ask yes you kick the ball with your skates)
Either inlines or quads – that doesn’t matter. But trust me, it is truely a great, addictive, fun game.
How would I know?? Well, I played in English team for a few years before permanently moving to Canberra.
There are teams worldwide (USA, Brazil, Germany, France, England, Netherlands to name just a few) and a ‘World Cup’ is played every year.
It is generally played indoors but ultimately that’s due to the weather in the UK but not necessarily here.
Date – Every Saturday
Time – From 11am onwards
Venue – Basketball Courts, Campbell High School, Treloar Crescent, Campbell ACT 2612
Requirements – skates & pads (helmets recommended)
Both male and female of all ages are welcome. So come along – it’s free, fun and the more the merrier!!.
