I am delighted that Ross Barrett OAM and Susan Proctor have agreed to join the Board. Mr Barrett, well known and highly regarded in the ACT construction and development industry, will Chair the LDA Board.
Mr Barrett, an engineer by profession, is the current President of the ACT Branch of the Master Builders Association (MBA), a position he has held since 2001. He is a life member of the Association and has been a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers Australia since 1986. In 2011 and again in 2012 he has been recognised by Engineers Australia as one of Australia’s 100 most influential engineers.
Mr Barrett brings a wealth of experience and knowledge about the local development environment to the Board.
Ms Proctor is a managing partner at Bradley Allen Lawyers, working in the commercial law arm of the company. In this position her client base is largely Canberra-based businesses involved in commercial property development. Her skills and experience will be a valuable asset for the Board.
