Tomorrow is the annual Canberra Marathon, which as well as shutting down a few roads around the lake will be catering for about 900 runners, including Dual Olympian, Rod de Highden.
So, if you have nothing to do in the morning from 7am, then pop on down to King Edward Terrace (near Questacon), or Bowen Drive to see runners and cheer them on.
By golly, I know I will be need it when I have done 32k and need that little extra something to make the last 10km…
Check out The Canberra Marathon Website for details on the course map and the best places for spectators to go.
