The holidays are here again and … eek, are you prepared?!
If you need some time off work, and a break from the kids to get your Christmas errands sorted, we’re here to help! We’ll also ready to get the new year started with a bang when you’re back at work in 2020, or even if you need to schedule occasional days to break things up during the holiday period.
Starting Monday, 9 December, The Possum Patch holiday program has you covered. So once you log off work and your annual leave kicks in, don’t let the chaos start straight away: check the kids in for a couple of days at Possum Patch so you can hit the shops and wrap the pressies in peace.
Running from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm each day from 9 to 20 December, and starting back again from Monday 6 January, the program will keep your little ones entertained, keep their learning flowing and keep their bellies full.
With meals and snacks provided all day, and with each day having a unique theme, you get to design a program you know your kiddies will love. From baking galore to Christmas goodies, summer salads and smoothies, pizza dough, fresh pasta and even a bake-off week, build a varied holiday program that keeps them engaged and hands-on. And the program is suitable for all children aged 3 to 13 years.
Each day, they’ll have the opportunity to explore the 55 acres of Pialligo Estate on cool farm buggies with our market gardener who will give them a guided tour of the orchard, olive grove and market gardens to learn about the cycles of planting and harvesting, and the opportunity to see fresh produce prepared in our kitchen. It’s a wholesome experience for them to see a variety of produce and its full cycle.
We also have a new fully fenced, sensory playground where they’ll have plenty of time to stretch their legs, get creative with the variety of playground features we’ve integrated and play with new friends throughout the day.
