i was granny…..but some scum broke into my house and stole most of my belongings and then drove off in my demo derby car.

Gee thats a low act, sorry to hear about it Willo

still looking for a replacement so if anyone has something cheap or free give me a yell

Would love to help but can’t bring myself to sacrifice the P76

Like others we’re looking forward to the big event tomorrow

Ok, so I am coming to this thing tomorrow! Be afraid! Be very afraid!

*chuckle*

yes enash this is shaping up to be the best event all year…..certainly going to go out with a BANG!!!

gee willo that’s a bit rough hope you find another car in time my family and i will be there again this month for sure sounds like it will be great and i’m looking forward to seeing dwarf cars again. a relative of mine races them in qld and those little cars are FAST

perhaps we can organise a car for you next season granny?

Ooh, now I want to destroy a car!

if i find someting in the next few days i definately will….having a bit of trouble atm….i bet next week i’ll get offered a dozen different suitable cars….i wont be racing either as i pulled the racecar apart to get an early start on a rebuild for next season….was planning on a fun day spectating and then destroy a car……

Oh, I like that! So cute!

: )

So you’re really not going in it? Surely somebody has an old bomb lying around that they’re dying to get rid of!

Well, it’s not like me to go to car things, but I’m actually thinking about it. It could be an adventure, especially if Lisa from 106.3 is in the demolition derby!

*chuckle*

yes i did….twice in a week……..http://www.charltonraceway.com/classifiedphotos/dwarf.jpg
that is a dwarf car

Well, this is a completely foreign world to moi. Did you really get robbed and pillaged? And what the heck is a dwarf car?

we got lisa from 106.3…..closest we could manage…..

Well, if Pinky was going to be there it would be an absolute must see! I can’t believe the organisers didn’t think of that.

lol – I know I put it somewhere! Gracious … there it is in the refrigerator again! What idiot keeps putting it there??

sorry granny…couldn’t resist, racing from 10 am and demo derby will be approx 2:30 pm ….depending on what time racing concludes

i was granny…..but some scum broke into my house and stole most of my belongings and then drove off in my demo derby car….pinky….mmmmmm….usually no-one gets hust as only 1st and reverse gears are allowed to be used…still looking for a replacement so if anyone has something cheap or free give me a yell…..oh and granny….the time is 10:05….dont you have a clock?

Are you going in it, willo? When I think of demolition derbies I always think of Pinky Tuscadero and The Fonz. Does anyone ever get hurt? What time is it?

yes young ben nicastri is ok……bet he would have been a sore lad for a while though…..that crash was huge.
no i wasnt on fire and yes the car was behaving like a dog all day…….

I took my family to the race meet out there a few weekends ago thouroughly enjoyed by us all, some wild driving in willo’s class and the junior rollover looked terrifying, was that kid ok? and willo all my kids were cheering for you even tho it looked like your car was running roughly all day, was it actually on fire in the last race when you pulled onto the infield? we had a really enjoyable day and will be back this time to watch the demo derby last race of the season? wen does next season start?

pleased to hear that you enjoyed last season’s event nota….last year there were 11 participants in the demo derby….so far this season there are 15 nominations and noms are open until this friday evening.add a good field of race cars in all regular divs and it should be a very entertaining event

Thanks for the tip!

Wife and I attended the previous, similar event and found it very entertaining. We really liked the unpretentious club-style atmosphere, not to mention the cheap entry fee, or seeing kids having fun with their jalopies and learning both car-control and ‘consequences’ in a safe & controlled environment. In fact from an enthusiast perspective we saw more action on the track, featuring more overtaking and better motor racing overall than you typically get served up in those tedious Formula One or V8 Thoopercar races on the TV!
