Skywhale fever continues, Canberrans now see Skywhale on packaging

By Barcham - 3 June 2013 6

We’ve received two emails from Rioters who’ve noticed similarities between product packaging and Canberra’s mighty protector ‘The SkyWhale!’

Rioter mtb_rider sent us this:

As seen on the back of a jelly packet…
It appears ‘Alice’ has grown up – and is floating up and down taking photos of our great Capital.

Sing along with Bertie boys and girls…

SKY

Gentoopenguin gave us this:

When I bought some Children’s Panadol today, I wondered if anyone else came across a product that should also feature a photo of Skywhale?

WHALE

I agree, more products should feature the Skywhale.

What’s Your opinion?

Ok, over the Skywhale now. Just award it the Mully Cup for May and move on.

Mr DowninDowner has suggested – because he is a great believer in love – that he would like to commission a hot air balloon in the shape of a couple embracing. Only thing is, he thinks it will be hard to fund because no one gives a flying f*&k.

boom tish.

When I see Skywhale, I think of Swell Design’s “Chuck”: http://www.swelldesign.com.au/

I’m waiting for the Close Encounters homage – a mashed potato Skywhale, draped with footy franks.
