Spot the odd one out in Braddon

By johnboy - 24 August 2013 19

bins

This in from elevendollars:

I took the following picture in delightful Torrens St Braddon this afternoon. I was shocked that someone had dumped their MacDonalds packaging on the ground right next to a garbage bin. Have reported to appropriate authorities.

Bugger the maccas rubbish i’m more interested as to what the object is to the right of the bins?

It’s an ex-rubbish bin. It has ceased to be, it’s bleedin’ demised, etc. etc.

Can it go in the recycling?

Burnt / Melted wheelie bin.

Well exactly – the point of the original post was pretending that it’s about the Maccas discards, when of course it was about the bin-B-Q. Something not picked up by the initial responses! (I despair a little)

It’s a melted bin. That, I think, was the whole point of the post!

Well, it was once a bin. Now I guess it’s just rubbish.

Not an irony – a tactic.

A bit like how they added salads to the menu as a sop to nutritionists when everybody knows that everybody heads straight for the burgers.

..so who is at fault? Are Maccas supposed to force their customers to choose the salads?

Seems to me that of the myriad of fast food franchises, they are the best of the bunch. They DO offer healthy choices, they DO contribute back to the community, but they take all the heat for the unhealthy lifestyle choices and general bogan behaviour such as this.

I thought the pic was gold already – but the responses have turned this into some kind of crazy riff on “elephant in the room” …
