Has anyone here switched from Actew’s electricity &/or gas to another company? I have had a quick look at the following website and although prices are similar there is a discount for early payment which would seem to offer a small savings: https://www.switchwise.com.au
I am not the greatest fan of Actew’s market domination in the ACT and see prices rising significantly over the next couple of years to pay for the dam expansion (and to keep profits up).
Actew have also decided that their financial records should be no longer available to the public 🙁 and in these days of good corporate governance I am amazed that a public utility company would choose to be so secretive when previously these figures have been available due to part government ownership.
Others thoughts and experiences of other utility suppliers are appreciated.
