Canberra bookkeeping and back office accounting firm Tailored Accounts has won the 2015 Australian Business Award for Enterprise.

The award recognises organisations that have achieved outstanding success while undertaking bold new ventures.

Tailored Accounts founder and executive director Harry Hoang (pictured above) says the business was recognised for its innovative use of cloud technologies.

“I saw the potential time and costs savings you can achieve with cloud accounting, and decided to give it a try. Adopting cloud accounting has definitely given us the advantage over many other bookkeeping and accounting firms, making us one of the leading accounting and bookkeeping specialists in town,” he says.

A first time entrant, Tailored Accounts beat over 3500 organisations across Australia – the majority of which had more than 100 employees and annual revenue of over $10 million.

“I am extremely proud of what my team and I have achieved. Tailored Accounts has come a long way to become one of Canberra’s leading back office accounting and bookkeeping firms.

“The firm is currently serving over 150 customers across the ACT and regional states, processing A$62 million worth of customer transactions annually. I am also pleased that Tailored Accounts gets to represent the ACT in the Australian Business Awards this year.”
