Take A Stand Forum – tomorrow morning!

By BigBangBallers - 19 April 2012 3

Take A Stand 2012

National Convention Centre

Take A Stand is an annual forum designed to challenge and discuss the issues around development, aid and campaigning.  With presentations by the Global Poverty Project and Pierre Johannessen, this forum is an opportunity for anyone passionate about a cause to discover the  most efficient, effective, sustainable ways to  Take A Stand and make a difference in the world.

This year we’ll be addressing the KONY2012 campaign, so if you approve, disapprove or fall anywhere in between, this is an opportunity to discuss and debate your ideas.

If you haven’t seen the Global Poverty Project presentation yet, it’s not to be missed.

This is a completely free event; from 730am to 930am, you get FREE breakfast thanks to the wonderful National Convention Centre, FREE presentation by the Global Poverty Project, and of course FREE KONY2012 posters! Spread the word, and TAKE A STAND! https://www.facebook.com/events/286252668114737/

UPDATE – Tonight we’ll be meeting at the National Convention Centre, Glebe Park entrance, at 6.30pm. We have plenty of free posters to hand out, and will guide all attendees as to where they can legally and safely put them up.

I guess I’ll be finding out tomorrow, thanks for posting this 🙂

We’re just as surprised as you are… thankfully the NCCC make great pastries and coffee!
