Tattoos in Canberra circa 2011?

Who is recommended in Canberra 2014 for giving good tattoos? My wife is thinking of having her first done, wants to make sure the tatt and the experience are both good.

If you wanted to take a weekend down the coast I can highly recommend 13 Crowns in Huskisson.

Gave up getting tatts after Steve from Tattoo Culture moved up to Noosa..Can’t really trust my skin to anyone else..

Cactus @ North Lyneham is a damn fine artist.

Rush (Freestyle Tattoos in the City) is the only tattooist in Canberra I would recommend. Purely based on personal experience. I’ve had tattoos done in Queanbeyan, Tuggeranong and Lyneham…none of the people I dealt with came close to Rush. If X was still here I would also recommend her. She did my first one back in the 90’s.

If Grizz is still at Lyneham, I would recommend him. I miss X though. She is the tattoo guru. If you had a good artist in Sydney, it’s only a short drive to go back and get the job done.
