Territory records another 138 COVID-19 infections; active caseload falls once more

ACT Health is reporting 138 (72 PCR and 66 RAT) new COVID-19 infections in the 24 hours to 8 pm last night.

There are 892 active known infections in the Territory, a number which has been continually falling. Today is the 40th consecutive day of declining active cases.

Locally, a total of 203,613 cases have been reported since March 2020.

Hospitalisations remain steady. There are 89 people in hospital with the virus, with one in the ICU requiring ventilation.

Yesterday, there were 93 people in hospital with the virus, with one in the ICU requiring ventilation.

COVID-19 vaccination data is reported weekly on Fridays.

Malkara School has sent three classes of students home to learn remotely until Thursday (8 September).

Interstate, NSW has reported 21 deaths overnight and 3666 new cases of COVID-19.

There are now 1581 people in hospital with the virus and 37 patients in ICUs around the state.

Victoria has recorded 11 deaths overnight and 2237 cases of COVID-19.

There are 222 people hospitalised with the virus and 18 patients in the state’s intensive care units.
