The case of the Liberal MLA pot calling the ALP MLA kettle black

I would be last in line to support the Minister for [Redacted] & Corrections, however the CityNews has this article.

It is all about the Liberal Health Hotline (or lack of it) and how the incoming MLA Jerry Hanson had promised to continue the service after the departure of former Liberal health spokeswoman Jackie Bourke.

Surely the ALP can’t pass up the opportunity to make the following statement to the media:

I have lost confidence in Mr Hansons’ ability to run his shadow portfolio competently. I can no longer trust any assurance made by him that the health hotline will be functional and the phone actually answered.

Jackie who?

George you remember Jackie Burke, she’s the one that was screwed over by her own party for speaking up on things that matter. Not the sharpest tool in the shed but she actually cared. Pity we couldn’t say the same for some of the fascist armchair-philosophising self-absorbed politically arrogant pseudo genius schmucks they have in there now.

We deserve good opposition in this city and what do we get the green anarchists and the Einstein impersonating Liberals – you are joking.

Not sure why your feelings about the Minister for [Redacted] & Corrections are relevant here. Surely your comment should have been directed to the Minister for Health (i.e. Katy Gallagher).

But I agree with jakez. The Health Hotline was never anything but a means to collect any ammunition at all for the Libs to throw at Labour. Jeremy’s probably learned a quick lesson about how hard it is to maintain someone else’s (confected) rage.

Jesus Christ, Jorian writes like a 15 year old on his blog.

“How about no?”

As for the substantive issue, I’d like to hear Jeremy Hanson’s response as to why he has not kept his word; however at the end of the day the Health Hotline was nothing more than a publicity stunt. It serves as much purpose as keeping a failed candidates website up.

Jackie who?

Surely the ALP can’t pass up the opportunity to make the following statement to the media:

It just has.
