Antony Green from the ABC is predicting the demise of the tally-room, a longstanding part of the election process.
This year commercial networks will not be hosting their coverage from the tally room, and several states have already dropped tally rooms from their local elections. As it stands it may only be ABC News using the tally room, in which case one has to wonder if it’s worth the expense at all, what with us living in this supercomputer and internet filled digital future and everything.
