Looking for a fun night out while supporting a great local organisation?

Then book yourself and your friends a ticket to the Domestic Violence Crisis Service (DVCS) 2019 Blue & White Gala Ball – and make sure you’re dressed to impress!

The Blue & White Gala Ball is DVCS’ major fundraising event of the year, with money needed to help fund emergency accommodation, support groups, security upgrades and other client wellbeing initiatives. DVCS never says no to a client needing emergency accommodation based on DVCS’ budget situation, which is why they need your support on the night. This year DVCS has experienced a dramatic increase in the number of families requiring emergency accommodation and the length of time the families are spending in emergency accommodation.

To be held on Saturday 18 May 2019 at Hotel Realm, this is not a night you want to miss.
The evening will be hosted by DVCS Champions, Adam Shirley (ABC Canberra) and Juliet Moody (Sparrow-Folk) with other DVCS Champions Kristen Henry (Mix 106.3) and Andrew Muirhead (Brumbies Rugby) also in attendance. You’ll also hear from some of our Voices for Change Advocates and receive a firsthand account of how DVCS supported them and how that support impacted their safety and well-being.

There will be a silent auction live on allbids.com.au, which anyone can participate in. The silent auction includes some very exclusive prizes including brunch with Kristen and Nige from Mix 106.3, a training session with Christian Lealiifano and Andrew Muirhead from Brumbies Rugby, an exclusive invite to a foodie event with the HerCanberra team and a Raiders commentary experience with Alan Tongue, plus plenty of art, jewellery, signed sporting memorabilia, shopping vouchers and much, much more.

Make sure you’re dressed to impress!

There will also be a blind wine raffle featuring Moet, Veuve and a range of other wines. And for the super hopeful, there will be a raffle of a night at Jamala Wildlife Lodge.

After all the speeches, auctions and raffles have concluded, everyone is welcome to dance the night away to DVCS’ regular and incredibly entertaining band, HitParade. Catering to all music tastes, this band will have you on your feet in no time!
