The fight for Civic's future

I do wonder just how much advertising Mr. Snow does with the CT, and if a boost in ACT Government advertising would see a kinder editorial line.

Having said that I thought he CT gave the Stanhope government a free ride long after more critical scrutiny was warranted.

Talk about pi#$ing in each others’ pockets. The CT and Snow have whacked on a huge lovefest to the point where the CT is complaining that the Gov is dragging it’s feet and won’t put any money aside for Snow’s Blow in the budget. Fair dinkum, he only splashed it across the CT on Thursday…

Nothing in this for Mr Snow I’m sure. Wonder what he’s got on Waterford to have this blatant advertising splashed all over the CT for the last week.

i think the snow plan is ambitious.

id also liek to see ainslie avenue reopened – run a road through the hideous canberra centre.

come to think of it – the canberra centre would make an excellent terminal for LIGHT RAIL.

If they build the alternative routes before they mess with Northbourne then it will be a blessed relief.

If the land sale can fund the whole project then I don’t see any reason (other than protecting Simon Corbell’s fragile ego) not to get cracking.

I liked the ideas in Snow’s plan but don’t think it’s probably viable or going to happen cos of all the traffic hassles.

Are these proposed plans online anywhere?

I dont’ think directing more traffic onto Limestone Ave is a long term solution to anything. it is a skinny, very busy road as it is now.
And where are they planning to move MAjura Road to??
