Australian Stage brings word that the Canberra Theatre and The Street Theatre are teaming up to host a Canberra leg of “Short and Sweet”, a festival of 10 minute plays.

Each year Short+Sweet produces hundreds of the best 10-minute plays from across the globe. It is the largest 10-minute theatre festival in the world, and currently runs in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Singapore and Malaysia.
Now, Canberra’s emerging and established writers, directors and actors have taken up the challenge to present Short+Sweet Canberra – an entertaining smorgasbord of bite-sized treats to be performed at the Canberra Theatre Centre and The Street Theatre.
