Mach 81 (pictured) originally cut their teeth “[playing] in crappy school bands and other outside groups ranging from ska to funk to metal” before forming in 2017, they will be playing both this week and later towards the end of the month at the Polish White Eagle Club. This Thursday, check Mach 81 at Mr Wolf as part of Jam Sesh #7, playing with Fvceless and Harrison Lambert & The Heartbreak Bandits from 7.30 pm.
This Thursday Azim Zain & His Lovely Bones will be returning to the stage, with The Front also making a return as a live music venue. The Lovely Bones will be playing with Elk Locker, Lost Coast and Sal Viejo from 5.30 pm. Later in the night, Soundscapes #33 will be on, hosting p a r k s, Paul Duchesne & Fossil Rabbit and Jarrad Fragnito at Smith’s Alternative from 9.30 pm.
Friday night will see jazz legend Herbie Hancock gracing the nation’s capital, playing at the Canberra Theatre from 8 pm, while electronic Perth band Crooked Colours will be bringing their “Langata” tour at UC Refectory, playing with Nyxen and Kayex from 7.30 pm. From 9 pm over at sideway,
