The National Folk Festival is back! Taking over its traditional Easter long weekend timeslot, the 2023 iteration will see folk royalty in Billy Bragg and The Waifs join a lineup featuring dozens of acts from around the country.
Of course, the arrival of the Folky also means the arrival of the annual National Anti-Folk Festival. Welcoming of all genres, those who didn’t score a ticket to the big dance can congregate at Smith’s Alternative for a weekend of music and performances starting on Thursday.
Old Canberra Inn is getting in on the Easter festivities with their Easter Family Fun Day on Saturday afternoon. You’ll be able to catch sets from The Johnny Reynolds Power Trio and The Crossbenchers at the iconic Lyneham pub.
